The Breakers was a well known and loved Lake Huron beachside resort and restaurant in Port Austin, Michigan from the mid 40s until the mid 1990s. Many folk enjoyed waterside dining in a classic old school fashion and was sad to see it demolished in early 2000. I while thrifting I discovered old matchbooks and decided to use that to create a beachy mid century resort-inspired post card.
